I am thrilled to launch this entirely redesigned website. It is the result of a close, months-long collaboration between Open Road Digital Founder & CEO Nick Kosar and me. Nick and visual communication designer Sophia Porcu used their digital expertise and creativity to design a website that will serve as my personal online platform. You will see that the Atlantic Legal Foundation has a significant presence since I am privileged to be that organization’s Executive Vice President & General Counsel. And there also is much content reflecting my independent appellate practice at Capital Appellate Advocacy PLLC.
Although I plan to continually add new content to the website, such as new filings and commentary on important legal developments, it also archives most of the amicus briefs that I have written, the articles that I have published, and the presentations that I have given, since 2008.
The “All Things Amicus” page is a special feature. I want it to be a resource for anyone interested in writing or reading amicus briefs, or soliciting amicus support. There you will find posts about and links to dozens of amicus briefs that I have written. There also is a collection of my articles and blogs about amicus brief strategy, practice, and procedure. I also have provided links to the Supreme Court’s amicus rules and guidance, and to the local amicus rules of each federal court of appeals.
